It's an incredible feeling to come home after a long trip. It's like your place perks up a bit and slicks down its proverbial cowlick to warmly greet you once again. Perfectly familiar, it's as though there's a strange awkwardness lingering in the air; as if my abode was partaking in naughty high jinx while I was away. And although it feels slightly different, refreshed even, my digs are more appreciative of my presence now that I've returned. Well, I missed you too, you old broad.
